Off-piste skiing

  • Off-piste skiing implies a certain degree of danger (rough terrain, avalanches); off-piste skiers ski at their own risk.
  • Wear an avalanche victim research device. Get accompanied or ask information from professionals.
  • Isolated tracks do not guaranty your safety.

Avalanches risk

The European risk scale (1-5) grades the snow cover stability outside marked slopes (extended report available at the information points and flags displayed at the main ski lifts).

1 - LIGHT

Moderate stability

3 - PRONOUNCED
